LOOK: Mutya Orquia’s transformation from “bulilit” to a fine young lady

We all experience that so-called “awkward stage” also known as puberty stage. This is the period our outraging hormones gives us unlimited pimple breakouts, unwanted facial and body hairs, and other physical changes.

Lucky for those gifted enough to have beautiful genes, puberty stage is no sweat for them. But for most of us, puberty was indeed the most awkward stage of our lives since this is the time where we transform from a child to a teen.

In the showbiz industry, celebrities are also not exempted with this so-called “awkward stage”, but being a celebrity blessed with immaculate good looks, most of them are just passing through this stage as nothing happened.

We’ve seen different celebrity transformation here and there, some involve the use of modern aesthetics while others simply bloom and grow as a beautiful lady after puberty has hit them hard.

One of the celebrities who seem to slowly go through puberty gracefully is Kapamilya child star Mutya Orquia.

Mutya or Ruelleen Angel Olano in real life found her fame in the showbiz industry when she starred in the ABS-CBN fantasy series adaptation of Pablo S. Gomez’s iconic comic character “Mutya” from January to May of 2011.

Mutya played the role of a little girl whose legs are similar to a mermaid tail. This series did not just gain Mutya’s fame but also earned high ratings and awards for Mutya and ABS-CBN. She was nominated fro BestNew Female TV Personality in the 2011 PMPC Star Awards for TV and 2011 Gawad Tangi Awards for Best TV Child Performer.

Because of her remarkable acting skills, Mutya landed in another iconic role of Abigail Ruth Lim or simply Abby in the hit series “Be Careful With My Heart” together with Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap.

Playing as Abby made Mutya earn the Best Child Performance award at the 4th FMTM Awards 2012 for TV Entertainment.

She also played the role of the young version of Jade Dimagiba in “My Binondo Girl” and also starred in the movie “Shake Rattle and Roll 14”.

From the year 2012 up to present, Mutya has been a regular cast member ABS-CBN’s kiddie comedy gag show “Goin’ Bulilit”.

Born on May 3, 2006, Mutya is already turning 13 and will probably graduate Goin’ Bulilit soon. But as early as today, we can already see that Mutya turning to be one fine lady.
