Well-known 90S comedian known for his role as the sidekick of Mr. Shooli in “Juan Tamad” and “Mr. Shooli: Mongolian Barbecue’, Philip Supnet, also known as Kuhol, allegedly harassed his own goddaughter in Quezon City on Friday.
According to Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, Supnet attempted to kiss his own 10-year-old goddaughter while they were in his own store last April 12.
“He took advantage (of her) by kissing the victim on the lips and told her ‘wag kang maingay, balik ka bukas’,” Eleazar said.
Right after the incident, the girl told her father what happened and quickly reported Supnet to the barangay officials.
“The victim immediately went home and told the incident to her father who later reported to the barangay hall and sought assistance from BPSOs (barangay police officers) resulting in his arrest,” the QCPD chief explained.
QCPD filed charges against Supnet for violation of RA 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
Later on, the barangay police officers sent the ex-comedian and turned him over to the custody of Fairview Police Station.
We can never be too careful of the people around us, no matter how fun they are to be with. There are no exceptions when it comes to these kinds of crime.
