A wife who has just lost her husband was forced by her brother-in-law to move out and leave their home. She was forced to leave since her husband is already gone. Although she doesn’t have any idea where she and her child would stay, she still chose to leave to respect her brother-in-law’s decision.
For her and her child to live, she decided to start a small fruit stall. She knew that it would be enough to keep them alive.
Days passed by and every time she misses her husband, she visits his grave. Until one day, when he visited his grave to pour his heart out, two strangers walk up to her to ask if she’s Lumei, she confirmed it and so they handed her a calling card, telling her that she should go to the company because a job awaits her there.
That night, she dreamt of her husband who told her: “Don’t worry, you can go and work there. They are good people. I have saved them before and now they want to repay my kindness.”
The moment she woke up, she remembered that her husband used to write in his diary and so she took it and read a few pages. It was then when she understood that the reason why two strangers wanted to help her is that her late husband had helped them a lot when he was still alive.
Her husband was a doctor who helped the people who got injured from fire, car explosion, and even flood.
“Those people who he has saved before gave him a lot of gifts and money to repay his kindness, however, he refused to take them. His only wish was for them to look after his wife and his child when he passed away because he had a congenital heart disease.”
Lumei then accepted the job offer and was even given a place to stay in. With her husband’s noble acts, Lumei was able to survive. With her husband’s kindness, she was inspired to help others as well and so she joined a charitable organization to continue her husband’s good deeds.
