“Kita Kita” leading lady Alessandra de Rossi just had the weirdest offer in her life — and no, it wasn’t a commercial endorsement or a lead role in a new film or television series. Much to her shock, a Gasul delivery boy offered her a newborn baby in exchange for PHP 60,000!
The actress narrated her anomalous anecdote on Twitter, writing:
“Yung nagde-deliver daw ng gasul ang nag-alok ng sanggol sa halagang 60K. Nakakaloka si kuyang nag-deliver ng gasul, nag-aalok ng bagong panganak. 60k lang daw. My gas!”
Her followers were quick to respond to her odd experience. One user even had the audacity to comment that Alessandra de Rossi should have accepted it as it might have given her good luck. Some netizens also expressed their disbelief similar, echoing the actress’ reaction.
Meanwhile, Alessandra’s hit film “Kita Kita” has finally made it to the video-on-demand service Hooq for everyone who missed watching it on the big screen. The movie is still the no. 1 independent film in the Philippines, with a box-office record of $6.5 million (around PHP 338,400,000).
Jennifer Batty, Hooq’s chief content officer, expressed her delight in making the movie exclusive to the video-on-demand service.
“We are very excited to have such a high-caliber Filipino movie on Hooq. Filipino content is very important to Hooq and the addition of Kita Kita will further boost the service’s already impressive library of Filipino movies.”
